Matthew Buys Houses (“we”, “us”) buys houses in Central Florida. This policy covers matthewbuyshouses.net.
Information you give us
When you request an offer, we collect the property address, your name, phone number and email address, and the property condition and selling timeline you select. If you use the Cash Sale vs Traditional Sale Calculator and then request an offer, the figures you entered are sent with your request so you do not have to repeat them. Calculator figures are not sent to us unless you request an offer.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which buttons are clicked. We do not send your name, phone number, email address or property address to Google Analytics.
- How you found us. Your browser stores the page you first landed on, the website that referred you, and any advertising campaign tags in the link you followed. This is kept in your browser for up to 90 days and is sent to us only if you request an offer.
- Spam prevention. When a form is submitted, our server keeps a scrambled, non-reversible version of the sender’s IP address to limit repeated submissions and identify spam. It is stored with the request; the IP address itself is not stored.
How we use your information
- To review your property and respond to your request.
- To contact you about your property by phone, text message or email.
- To understand which pages and marketing bring people to the site, so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website (our web host and email provider), with title companies, attorneys or other professionals when needed to complete a purchase you have agreed to, and when the law requires it.
Phone calls and text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your property. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling us on a call, or emailing us. Requesting an offer does not require you to agree to marketing messages.
How long we keep it
We keep offer requests for as long as needed to respond to you and for our business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us. You can clear the information stored in your browser at any time through your browser settings.
Children
This website is intended for adult property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
